WHAT TO BRING ON A CAMPOUT:

ALL CAMPING GEAR (TENT, SLEEPING BAGS, CHAIRS, COOKING GEAR AND FOOD), COOLER, PERSONAL CLOTHING AND TOILETRIES, EATING UTENSILS (MESS KIT), FIRST AID KIT AND MEDS THAT YOU ARE TAKING ON A REGULAR BASIS, HAT, COAT, AND RAINGEAR, ALSO ANY EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR THE ACTIVITIES PLANNED (FISHING GEAR, FOOTBALL, SOCCER BALL, HIKING BOOTS, SWIMMING GEAR, ETC. ) DON'T FORGET TOWELS AND WASHCLOTHS AND A PILLOW. WOOD OR CHARCOAL TO COOK ON AND MATCHES. FLASHLIGHT, HANDBOOK, BIBLE FOR SUNDAY SERVICE AND UNIFORM. DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERA.

Troop 283 and Pack 283 are in the Three Rivers District of the Greater Alabama Council.

We hold Den meetings and Troop meetings at Liberty Baptist Church on Self Creek Road.

Troop 283 (boy scouts) meets on Monday's at 7pm.

Pack 283 (cub scouts) meetings are listed below:

Tiger Cub Den meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm.

Wolf Den meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm.

Bear Den meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm.

Webelos I and Webelos II Den meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm.
